My wife and I were traveling from our hometown in South Tenn to visit other friends in Gainesboro TN on the Saturday of Sept 5th. As we passed the Sparta exit off of Hiway 111 our Kia Optima began stalling out. We exited the Hiway to a safe place on the shoulder. Fortunately, we had cellular service there, and pulled up the nearest Kia dealership, which was Cumberland Kia in Cookeville. As I spoke with the service manager - Dave, my wife phoned a tow service and a friend to pick us up from home. As I described the symptoms of our break down, Dave asked for the VIN #. Apparently there was an extended warranty on our particular car. He said that he was taking a Labor Day vacation for the next week, but he would leave information for Lucas about our car and to expect a call from the dealership the next week. Lucas called on the following Wednesday and said the engine was covered by the Kia extended warranty, we also qualified for a rental car, and the engine had been ordered. The following Monday my wife took a half day off work and we picked up a very nice rental from the Toyota branch of Toyota of Cumberland, a few doors down from the Kia dealership. By the Friday of that week, Lucas called and said the Optima was repaired and test driven. I returned the rental that afternoon and received our repaired Kia Optima. From the very first phone call to the last personal interaction with the personnel at Kia of Cumberland - everyone was very polite and most helpful. Thank you for such good service! May everyone who reads this, and all of the staff of Kia of Cumberland know blessings.
